Ok. I am really frustrated and I am mainly writing this shitty post to copy paste it in the Microsoft forums.

So, you have logged in into your hotmail inbox and you have tried the new outlook.com interface. Too late to be sorry and go back to the old hotmail because Microsoft removed the option.

nmap: error while loading shared libraries

A small post because every time I am trying to install the latest version of nmap on a linux box I get the same error and every time I search google because I don't remember the solution.

So, if you want the latest version of nmap on your debian box you can download the latest .rpm file from nmap's site and then install it in your system using alien and dpkg. You can of course compile it from source...

After the installation you will probably face the following error:

Htop CentOS installation

A simple how to install htop on CentOS in OpenVZ.

Because htop is non existent in yum repositories you need to download htop from the developer's sourceforge page.

Merge multiple vmdk files to single file

So, you have an image for vmware with multiple *.vmdk files but you want to combine them in one.

That can be done with a tool provided by vmware. The vdiskmanager. The procedure is really simple if you have the necessary files... Oh the files I am giving here are for Windows OS. Merging in linux is about the same but you need different files...

Rails on XAMPP automated setup (RoX)

This post will be in English because I know that there are people seeking in google how ruby on rails can be installed over xampp in Windows.

So, I came across various websites giving instructions of how this installation can be done. I must confess though, that this wasn't easy. The installation gave me a headache, especially the mysql installation. You think that a "gem mysql2 install" will work huh? Well think again...

Anyway, I made an easy 1-click installer (a batch file and a sfx archive can do the job) in order to help anyone who wants to "play" with rails on Windows with the convinient use of xampp. Its name is RoX (Rails On Xampp). Yeah I know, the name is like the coolest ever....
